What kinds of carpentry we provide
We offer a full line of rough carpentry services including: decks, additions, garages, covered decks, pergolas and more. There is nothing that we can’t build! We deal with all manufacturers and types of products so you have no limits. We are a Class B Building Contractor, so unless your imagination takes you beyond 4 stories in height we can do it!
We often can help in the imagination department too. We do complimentary renderings so you can more easily visualize what your new deck, covered deck, addition or structure might look like. We also do our own architectural drawings, which speeds up the permitting process and gives you a direct line to the architect for when you have a questions on layout, etc.
We deal with all decking products: treated wood, cedar, composite, aluminum railing, wood railing, and composite railing. Our highly skilled carpenters can accomplish even the most difficult and unique builds. In fact, we almost enjoy the difficult projects more than the simple ones!
We can build a covered deck from the start, or we can build a cover over your existing deck. We are experts in framing and can always find a way to tie into your existing deck and house. Tearing into the structure of your existing house makes covered decks an intense project, so make sure you are entrusting it to the professionals!
We also build additions and garages. We spend some time with you to see what you are looking to get from your addition or garage, then we put together a few renderings of the project for you to see so you can visualize what your project will look like. If you choose to move forward we will take care of all the architectural drawings and permitting, and our carpenters will bring your imaginings to reality!

Partially gone old deck replacement
Old rotting flight of stairs
Garage into Apartment!
3 Car Garage additionThis country ranch was the recipient of a new 3 car garage and covered deck addition this winter. We managed the entire project from foundation through finishing. We matched and tied into the existing siding and roofing. We also added a wash tub and wood burning stove. A concrete driveway is soon to follow.
Partially gone old deck replacementThis deck was ready to be replaced. We tore off the existing structure and found that the building was an converted pole barn. To make sure the new deck was safe and met code, we worked with the City of Gretna building department to make sure it was well anchored. After that it went up without a hitch. The deck structure is all treated lumber. The railing is Westbury's Tuscany Aluminum Series line. This railing is sturdy, easy to install, and being a powder coated aluminum, your never have to worry about corrosion.
We also installed an under deck water system to divert an rain coming through the deck boards to either side.
